SOLD: Momo 380mm Formula 1 Real Wheel

Up for sale is a fairly rare 380mm Formula 1 Real Wheel made by Momo. Stamping on rear reads "PAT. MOMO ITALY indicating the wheel was made around ‘66-68. The wheel is in overall very good condition, 100% original condition with very little apparent use. There is one nick in the leather, which is indicated in the pictures below. The leather overall is supple, internal padding is still soft and the distinctive Momo stitching is nice and tight. This is a pretty special wheel that would look great in a special coupe. I'm happy to answer any questions or provide more photos if needed.

That’s FMV on large diameter formula 1 wheels. Just about any period 3 spoke 380mm momo with good leather is $2K+ unfortunately.

Yes, these 1st generation Momo’s are quite valuable and in demand. A quick search on Google will confirm this. Just be happy you are not in the market for a CSL Alpina, this is sadly a fraction of the price I paid for that one

Ok, ok... I have probably $850 into my Petri, I thought that was a lot for a steering wheel. I guess if you had the right car and you needed it, you'd pay it.
