looks like a smart buy, especially if you have a 3.0csi this is the better plate, but requires the license plate lights in the bumper.
 
Always wanted this setup, how does the light get mounted - Is there an existing hole for the light assembly to fit into body, or an obvious spot to trim sheetmetal, or a template to drill n trim properly?
 
Non-CSI cars will need to trim out a hole in the rear body panel to fit the light. I was planning on doing this, and actually use this as a 3rd-brake light, but plans has changed.

I bet Markos has the EXACT measurements on his parting-out CSi.
 
if you go this route, you will also need to modify your elephant skin panel (trunk taillight surround panel)
 
Mark, it would be worth taking the light out and make a cardboard / chipboard template - cut to fit in the panel recess

Indeed, my plan has been to make one out of a vinyl magnet strip. You can buy the strip in 36" lengths.
