With a 100.000 euro price difference between the 2000cs and the csi, one wonders....
How much effort would it be to merge a decent 2000cs with a nose & engine &I interior from a dead cs(i)?
It aint easy; it needs slicing the cars in half.
I know the sills of a 2000cs are 2 inches shorter; in the e9 bmw welded this 2 inch on as an extra flange under the A-pillar.
Then the interior is different, but one could leave it 2000cs.
Is the glass identical?
