Spare Tire Well

The spare tire well on my '73 coupe looks like swiss cheese. Is there anyone out there who would know where to get a replacement?

Should be able to get the part off any BMW dealer. Check around to see who might have it for less. I usually buy my parts from Tisher .

I see you are in Maine. Whereabouts? I have family in the Damariscotta and Calais areas.

Check with Mario/VSR in Bow, NH. He replaced mine years ago and may have a bead on a used one which could be cheaper.

I bit the bullet and ordered a spare tire well from Carl Nelson. Expensive!

I am north of Portland in the Freeport area. Our local BMW club meets in Freeport the second Monday of each month. Stan recently drove his coupe up and had a good time. You should do the same. I can account for five coupes in the club, unfortunately only Andrew has a coupe on the road, and we have a guru, Voit Ritch, who has restored a dozen, or so.
