Finally some sunny days here in Reno and the E is on the run! Had something strange happened yesterday when appling the brakes a metal to metal sound rang out of the rear disc. Could it be the pads I check a couple of years ago had gone away.($h!*) So into the garage,up on to the jacks and removal of the pads to find that's not it? So after looking at it for alittle bit I thinking what the hell so I took the parking brake off and rotating the disc and that metal to metal sounded off. A piece of metal looking rock was between the disc and cover on the inside rubbing away. So removed,replaced pads and back on the road this morning. I sure miss driving this car after sitting for a month or two!

gawd, i wish it were spring here. full blown summer - mid 90's highs. got to get the a/c working on the coupe.
