brand new they dont wear out
its a fixed piece of steel
no moving parts gettit

in my experience, part 3 not steel, but syntherised sort of metal, not sure if aluminium, or an aluminium alloy
it is a soft part (at least original parts were)
so they do suffer due to spring forces
a photo will help to see if new parts were turn to harder metal
