Can anyone tell me what the spring rates (in Lb per inch) for the E9 are? I have the blue books which state that the springs are rated as (approx) 800Lb. This seeems a little, well, actually far too high for a road car so I can only assume that back in those days they didn't measure in Lb per inch but another method.
I'd like to convert to adjustable coil overs so I can get the ride height exactly as I like as currently my coupe sits a bit too low at the back and too high at the front.
Thanks gazzol
