Selling a set of Stahl Headers. Removed from 3.0csi.

The Stahl stamping is on both headers and tubes in good condition.

Hard to find!

Markos, you will find a place. Just like you do for all the other must-have parts. I know the feeling. Steve

Indeed. However, I'm thinking the best place to store these headers is between the cylinder head and the first resonator.

Impossible to find new...
maybe not so hard ... Depending on what I do in the very near future - I might have a brand new (still in the box from the ceramic coater) that I may decide to part with. One of the last batch made by stahl. In other words, to put it politely, I may be in the money raising business to buy something I want to buy

Are these the same one's?

So they don't make them anymore?
Nope. Jere retired over a year ago, maybe 2 ... I don't remember. I think it's two. The only place that might still have some is Korman. But if they do, hold on to your butt ... They charged 1700+ bucks when stahl was still in business as they bought them, but a ceramic coating on them and made a nice profit.

To my knowledge, nobody bought the jigs or designs for their bmw line. Such a missed opportunity. Hard to believe that the website is still operational. I just saw on the home page that ACP bought some of the jigs ... Just not sure which. You might want to give them a call

Just wondering, what headers are the track oriented CSL's running? Do many prominent vintage racers run Stahl or is there a German brand that is the standard? Markos, for storing headers, they look great hanging from a wall. I have a set of refinished headers over my desk, along with a few extra steering wheels. Scott, you certainly tried hard preserving those heritage jigs and tooling. As I recall , we had some enthusiastic members who came close to taking the plunge with this.

We could check back with them. Maybe the price has come down in the last couple years. We have a couple master tig welders who could fab these up and their rates are reasonable ($60-$75/hour).
