Does anyone know what these are? I've never seen them on another E9. We are prepping the car for paint and if these are not original they will not be going back on the car.
Many thanks.

The fit and finish is excellent as intended, the car also has the front aluminim wheel arch liners and fifty years worth of the thickest wax oil we've ever seen. Being sold new in Sweden and living their it's entire life we believe the previous owner was fastidiously paranoid about corrosion, perhaps explaining these extra sill guards? These will in this case be removed and replaced with the mouldings I see on most E9s.

Funny to see that they fit, as I believe the wheelbase of an e9 to an 2000cs was longer.
In addition, the innersill has a small tab welded on the front of it to make it longer. I heard that this basically was to 2000cs part, with extra length added.
I therefore assumed that also the outersill was longer.

Before you send them out; could you please check if they are chromed steel or brass, or stainless steel?

Erik.

I would think these were custom made for the e9, the 2000CS part is not long enough, just look at the front quarter panel distance on an e9.
