I would imagine the rust holes unseen but there would mitigate this pressure difference ;-)
it is a good observation, pressure is a serious thing
but in my set at least lenses size is slightly bigger than the frames, this means that it will be difficult for them to pop out that way
of course that pressure will affect the assembly and...
btw, pressure relieve holes are located in c-pillar emblems area
a first step is a first,...
so as the frames were not nice at all,....
i had to take a look at this...
it is not real metal, hence the problem

it took some weeks to work our all the imperfections, and recreate the shapes, then they rechromed the frames i such an spectacular fashion....

Really good work by the chroming company. It is indeed a big difference.
Stan, can I order another set of Euro lenses please? I have one old set of frames left that I want to restore as a spare. Or since I am in Oz is it easier to go direct to the supplier? I can't remember what I did last time. Thanks.And if you are wrong, I can sell more
