Black wire from harness goes to small post on top of solenoid correct?


Edit: Disregard, post should be at bottom, 6:00, to activate starter. Top post is power to coil when starting, I had removed my red/black wire here.

Hi Chris -- If you don't already have one, those huge 11x17 laminated e9 wiring diagrams are fantastic (particularly as they require less magnification than the owner's manual for those of us who are a little more seasoned.)

I have that plus blue books but starter is a lightweight SR-440/441 permanent magnet style.
