Starter wire

Does this wire connect to the starter (from ignition switch) ?

(It appears to be black with no stripe, but at this point I can't be sure.

You have a carbureted car so the female spade with 2 black wires goes to the 6:00 position on the starter. It is the signal wire from the ignition switch that cranks the engine. The extra black wire in the spade goes to the diagnostic plug by the brake reservoir

Wire 90 and 91 for 74´s diagram. connector to starter, position No. 50
Wire 90 goes to connector No. 53, and then the cable 92 goes to Starter Switch, No. 62
Wire 91goes with the wire 86 to connector 29. the wire 86 goes to the diagnostic unit No. 31. position 7
