Steering Shaft dimensions and photo's

Hi,

i've finally (possibly) managed to find a steering shaft, but the guy's insisting that i send him the correct dimensions and photo's first, as he's got a BMW shop with parts off different models, so want's to be sure it's correct.

Problem is, mines on my car and i don't have the time, space or ability to get it off to photograph and measure. So i'm hoping someone else might have already done this themselves?

One thing i'm not sure about, is whether or not there's any difference between the length of the LHD and RHD models?

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
