Still Looking Throttle Position Sensor

If your not concerned with originality then you could look at Efihardwear.com in Melbourne Australia, they have a suitable replacement.

Hi Steve, The two TPS boards look the same to me. I think the Porsche 2.0L 914 TPS would be a good bet, though I can't say for sure... Maybe the seller knows. BTW my picture is for Bosch 0280120035 which a Bosch catalogue identifies as correct for the CSI. TPS

The 0280120030 TPS seems to be a Saab not Porsche item (the 2.0 914 TPS has number 032 and the Porsche case has a different shape). They may share the same board as the CSI. But there is an extra pin in the connector of the 030.

It would not be my first choice, but if the circuit board has the same configuration - it should work. By the same token, if the TPS rotates in the same direction as the "035" and properly fits the csi throttle shaft, it should work. The extra (5th) pin should be superfluous where as the original 4 prong connector should fit within the 5 prong TPS connection.

Curious about the "silver" contact areas on the replacement circuit board and how it compares with the durability of the original "gold".
