I've got a wiper motor cover from a '76 530i (VIN 5011229) - I wonder if that would fit? Shoot me an email if you'd like some pics etc. - located in central Canada.

If there is enough interest, as in people willing to put down a deposit of actual money toward a purchase I can have a mold made and provide polyurethane reproductions. Price per part would be between $90 and 100 each, would look exactly like originals and be brand new. I have to pay for tooling and a high part price so need a minimum of 10 orders to do this.
This is an obscure part, I have seen hundreds of coupes and only one or two of these had wiper motor covers. They are routinely discarded by heavy handed mechanics who dont want to bother, so they just cut it off and threw it away. Let me know your interest at [email protected] and perhaps I can make this work.
Part prices for polyurethane in very limited quantities are very high, figure labor rates of at least twenty dollars each since they require skilled personnel. The guy I use is also a marble sculptor, does very interesting work, email me if you would like his website to see for yourself. Also lives in one of the priciest areas of front range Colorado, Boulder, so he can hardly work for free.
