Stunning 2002

My schoolboy German doesn't help me much here, but $90,000 for a 2002? I know Alpina helps, but wow. Just wow. Is there some provenance I'm missing?
 
nice 2002 but ... it remains a Alpina COPY..... i understand the dealers wanted profit ... one can sure build that for 50K.
And 185 PS .... ?? no matter what we did on my 2002 rallycar , prof build, we got max 160PS. There must be some exotic parts in there.... or a redline at 8000 ?? :)

Click on the US flag in the top left corner of the webpage for the English version. I bought a 2002 from this gentleman. He is fluent in English and happy to chat by phone. My car was not exactly as described but he has many good references. It is my sense that 2002's are priced higher in Europe than here, while E9's are cheaper there.
