Will the stock M5 Style 65 18" wheels fit an E9? I know this one is a body swap car.

An 8x17 is very close to the strut. I would say they would fit if you did the following.
Fronts:
1. Added adjustable camber plates
2. Added a 5mm spacer to the front
3. Ran 225 tires
4. Rolled the fenders
You are going to need a spacer to clear the strut. You need the negative camber for the spaced tire to clear the rolled fender. No idea about cycling the suspension while cornering, If you have room to spare on the strut size, get a thinner spacer (say 3mm).

Should fit fine…
