Sun Visor Parts

I think he has them because like a CSL, he has no header panel. His headliner fabric and setup isn’t original. Only the CSL came without a header panel.

I'm not sure what do you mean as the header panel. If this is the "short" panel starting at the upper edge of the windshield and continue over some part of headliner then...

I've seen some non-CSL whithout it

Maybe because they've had the sunroof option?

Sounds like we are talking about the same part. I am not aware that standard CS's came without these, but I've seen cars with it missing. I'm not aware of a lot of things however. Nearly all CS's that I have seen have a raised panel at the front of the headliner. It has recesses for the dome light, the sun visors, and holes that the sun visor clips snap into. The CSL doesn't have this panel at all. As a result the CSL sun visor clips are tall black (~25mm) pedestals that the visors snap into. Incidentally, mine is perforated and looks like the visors.

Thanks for clarification. We spoke about the same than.

It means I have CSL Headliner ;) or - as it was mentioned before - cars from later production haven't had it in some cases.

I have dome light one the left, over driver's head and no panel.

Maybe it was cost/weight saving solution as 2.5CS has almost nothing in standard (except rust of course).

I was wrong in a way I do also have this panel. I was misled by the dome light location. Sorry Gents
