Can anyone help with sun visor parts. I acquired two used sun visors but it turns out they have two different mounting hinges/hardware. One has a deeper moulding in the plastic where the steel pin exits the plastic attachment piece before the rod bends and enters the visor (like my 1972 originals). The other is shallower at that point and hence the short arm of the steel pin is shorter too (like the new mounting hinges/hardware I obtained and which I now suspect are for a later car). The blackened mounting hinge/hardware attached to a sun visor in the photos is my original visor and what I am after...

I went through that subtlety when replacing the hinges on my visors, the new style works but you'll have to cut the pin shorter and remove a bit of the "guide" as well unitl it matches the dimensions of the old pin. I assume you have the visors ready and are trying to figure out the hinges.
