Sunroof - After market

Hi All,

I wanted to get your opinions on a E9 I am looking at in Europe that has a after market sunroof installed. I have attached a photo.

Do you think it will lower the value of the car in the long run?

Would it be possible to change the sunroof to one that is similar to a E9 sunroof?

Well, that looks like a nicely done sunroof. If it is a cheap pop-up roof, yes it detracts from the value of the car.

Yes, it is possible to graft a 'factory' Golde sunroof roof on a non sunroof car. Keep in mind roof transplants are expensive and on these cars a difficult transplant. Have to find a sunroof donor car with all the hardware in tact, parts are very hard to come by.

It would be easier to find a proper sunroof car.
