sunroof information

installing the sunroof thought i clear some issues
the manual system had the cables mounted on the slider on the left side
and the motor system has the cables mounted on the right side
this is because the rear tube has the support mounted opposite for each system
the tube extends a 1/2" or so to pick up the cable
and the tube is short to insert the long plastic support rod
also all parts are available at 911 sunroof on ebay
at great prices i got both cables for 75.00
and the transmission for 100.00
also the cable mount are metal not plastic so
a better system overall.

Alan,

I sent you an e-mail with an electrical diagram attached. I'm 99% sure this is the correct wiring diagram for the late model e9 sunroof wiring. It came from a shop manual for 5 series cars.
