sunroof not working

can anyone advise how i start to investigate why my sunroof isnt working. got power to the switch but how do i get to the mechanism

unzip the headliner?

i should have looked further back. zip appears to be long gone and it had been taped up but in there now to get this sorted. hopefully a clean up and regreasing it will help
