Sunroof Switch/Headliner Question

Hi all. I'm back with another (likely novice) question.

I have a 1972 3.0cs, and the hole in the headliner is little too big for the power sunroof switch. I've been wondering if: (i) someone just damaged the headliner so the hole is too big; (ii) if there should be a piece of trim that fits in the hole in the headliner and the switch fits into that trim; or (iii) if the 5 pin switches were bigger than the 4 pin switches, and maybe someone swapped the trim piece from a car with the 5 pin switch into my car.

If anyone has any suggestions or fixes, please let me know.

There is a plate that apparently holds the switch, it changed part numbers as well. #24

I thought I had located the part, but it appears the vendor that said they had it in stock does not.

Does anyone have part #24 in the above image for sale?
