SUSPENDED ACCOUNTS - please read

We had some malicious files placed on our server this morning causing our host to suspend our account. That's all they can do when this kind of thing happens and they've worked with me to get things going again. The hosting account was suspended, not the user accounts on the forum. The confusion was that the message only said "Your account has been suspended", but it meant the hosting account.

I did get quite a few emails from stressed out users, I apologize for what happened and hope we don't have to deal with it again in the future.

Thanks for the update Dan, i tried to logon earlier this morning and read the suspension notice. i checked with Stevehose and he confirmed that he was going thru withdrawals as well.

You don't realize how much you depend on something until you don't have it anymore. It was a long and stressful couple of hours, but so glad everything is back up. Thanks again for all the administration that has to occur to keep this party going. :cool:
 
Thank you Dan. Sorry to bother you with my response to the 'Suspended' screen.

Great job of recovering and giving Mark, me, et al something to do instead of being productive for the economy!!
