Suspension question

Thats the DOT spacer mandated to raise the front bumper/headlights back in the day. If yours are still on, remove them, trim the strut bolts, and enjoy a lower stance.

Unless it's already on the top of your fender, that means it's been removed but swapped sides without the bolts trimmed. They were originally installed between the fender and the strut bearing.

If someone were to have a minor clearance issue with taller tires would that spacer be of any use? Mine clear fine but it took some trial-and-error before I got the right combination, just wondering if anyone left them in their original position to help with fitment.

Spacers

What are those spacer made of?
I have the set from my coupe and wonder if I can recycle them?
Great if they were aluminum
