UPS dropped these off today:

They are the Addco swaybars, and were $350 total with free shipping from Amazon. Definitely can't complain about price.

As measured, my existing bars are 17mm front and 18mm rear. These are 25mm and 22mm respectively. Seeing as BMW thought a 24mm front bar was appropriate later in the E9's life, I'm not overly worried that these will be too big. I'm spoiled by the lack of body roll in my '66 Volvo 1800S, which has a 28mm front bar (much larger than stock on a car that started out with a ton of body roll)... and I can't wait to try these out on the CS. I plan to try and capture some before/after video at a spot I know of where I can make consistent, constant turns. I'll post links when these are ready.

If they work out, I'll be running them for track days at Thunderhill and Laguna Seca over the next several months. Should be fun.

Drop a line when ya come up to T-hill.

The new longer road course, 5+ mile lap, should be open late Spring.
Looks awesome.

Well... I got the front bar installed, but I experienced the same issue I read in another thread and ended up having to do quite a bit of grinding on the brackets so that they would fit the car. Everything is installed nicely in the front now.

The rear was a whole lot easier... except when I went to install the sway bar bushings, they were the wrong size. The kit came with bushings that appear to be meant for a 20mm bar. Guess I'll be calling Addco on Monday.

I put the 18mm rear bar back on, and the difference is already quite large with just the front bar, although I expect there may be excessive understeer at the limit with just the larger front bar installed.
