Swedish coupes....

I wonder who owns it now?
Roger,
Can you register it as "seen in ad/other" with asmuch info as you can provide?
If the owner comes forward we can always morify the listing.

Stan

Done. I don't know who owns it now.

Roger,

Coupes in Sweden

Hej san svenskarna!

I just saw this conversation about Swedish coupes and it reminded me of living in Sweden and coming across a beautiful Nachtblau coupe in Borlänge during the summer of 1986. The car was already more than 10 years old and seemed to be a garage queen or weekend car. The owner was super nice and I wound up pulling out a pocket camera and taking some shots which I need to dig out--they are slides packed away in storage. I was already a fan of 2002s and 3.0s during my high school years in the early 80s in the US, and I really loved the lines of that blue coupe in Sweden and vowed to own one some day. I didn't get around to buying one for about 20 years . . . and my wife would make the point that I should have bought one that wasn't a basket case. But that is a different story.

Gott Nytt År!

Hoppas ni trivs i 2013!

Scott:

It was Polaris Neu w/blue velour interior. I bought it in Burlinton, NC. I believe it was in the group of five coupes and six 2002s I sold Bobby Thrash (Strictly German), if I remember correctly?!?! Seems like it had two Webers on it, but I honestly don't remember. That's one reason why I just have the one CSL now: I can keep up with it! {:>)

Scott:

There was also a Polaris csi in the group I sold Bobby in the package mentioned above. It came from Huntsville, AL, but I don't recall much info about it other than I drove it home and got into a heavy rainstorm on I-285 on the way home when the windshield wipers died on me! {:<(.

Brooklands CSL

Over a thousand pre `73 cars turned up at Brooklands today. Only 2 coupes, mine and a nice original looking Verona CSL.
