I ran a wire from the negative side of the coil to the green wire connection on the instrument cluster tach side. It still does not work. I swapped in a spare cluster I have and still does not work. I hooked up my tach meter (engine analyzer) green pickup wire to the wire I ran and it worked. I noticed a white wire next to the green wire, does anybody know what it is used for? I also ran a separate ground wire from the battery ground to the brown wire on the cluster but it made no difference. Do I have two bad instrument clusters? Everything else works
