Tacho wiring with coil on plug ignition

Recently changed to stand alone Ecu with coil on plug sequential ignition.
You guys who have done it.
How did you wire/drive the Tacho from the Ecu?

The ECU should have a Tachometer (square wave) output that can drive the Tachometer. However, you may have to convert the output to a pulse signal using a Tachometer output convertor such as the Haltech HT-038006

Or…if the ignition coil is still there, them you can simply take the “negative” side of the coil and feed the tachometer input signal.
