In the recent thread about the '73 restomod M6 ( http://www.e9coupe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13095 ) many disparaged the aftermarket tach. When converting from an engine with a Kettering style ignition, i.e. points and coil, to an electronically controlled setup, what do you do about the tach drive signal? I converted my Bavaria to an MSD-6T box and had to use an 8910 tach adapter coil to get my tach to function.
