Take Two

Some of you might remember the first photo of two of my favorite things; my coupe and my dog- Hershey (my wife and kids are at the top of the list, of course). It was taken in 2007. Since then, the coupe has gotten some enhancements such as fuel injection and a 5 speed but look at poor old Hershey. Now 11, she's still hanging in there but has definitely slowed down in the last couple of years. I'm feeling the years too, I still run every day but I have to stretch and warm up forever.

The only thing better than an old car, is an old friend. Kota is now 9, and still handsome, but more deliberate...I'm right there with you in the morning...my new hip (March 18th) albeit better than before, still cranks like an old lawn mower...slowly. Pat that pretty boy on the head for me. Very nice pictures.

Hey, now your car looks like mine! Have the same wheels too...not on the car, sitting in the garage though.

We have two Huskies, who aren't slowing down despite them being 6 & 7. Hard to keep up with their enthusaism.

Thanks for all of the positive comments and sharing some of your own pets. I love the picture of the 'guard cat'!

I love that dog. She follows me everywhere. She gets the paper every morning and is so proud of herself when she brings it in the house. It's her job and she's not happy when they miss a delivery. We call her the 'job inspector' because whenever I'm working on a project (cars or house) she walks over to see (smell) what I did wrong.

The coupe and her are connected too. She was born the same day I bought it, Halloween 2003.

Great pics of Gita. I read on the e28 board that she got attacked by a pit bull, how is she doing?

I don't have an e28, I just troll there for the entertainment. Interesting cast of characters.

Interesting cast of characters indeed. Keep an eye on Pants | Works, he's a crafty one.

Gita is doing great, she's healing quickly and back to her old self, thanks for asking. She went to the vet for her two week checkup after the attack. He's happy with how quickly she is recovering.

I thought I'd try to get a another picture of Hershey while she's still with us (she's really slowing down - it's kinda breaking my heart). This picture has a couple of newcomers, the '02 I finished last year and our year plus old chocolate lab - Hazel (aka Crazel).
