I truely hope that this fact doesn’t irritate folks. After all, this is my first BMW and I’ve only driven it a 10 miles or so in 3 years.” I couldn’t tell you what the wind noise of the cabin is like at 60mph. I’ve never ridden in an e9 as a passenger, and I know nothing about 2002’s. I am good at “the internets”, taking things apart, measuring stuff, and snapping pics with my phone. I’ve never restored an e9 or haphazardly put one back together. It could be worse, I’m not addicted to facebook.
It is easy to get addicted to this site because behind the usernames are real people with real cars that really meet each other in real life!
I’ve been active on automotive forums since 1997 and this is the most drama-free and informative site that I have ever had the pleasure of frequenting. The historical and technical knowledge of the community is astounding!
