The 350mm AND 380mm Alpina Momo Prototipo is back...

finding the horn button might be a little tricky. at least i have one of the original Nardi conical hubs which is basically the same ... that will be something i won't be selling

They are selling this one also as reproduction:
Horn button
But I do have some old carb/camshaft and ITB/crankshaft horn buttons if the ones used on the four spoke wheel are also working for the Prototipo :)

So, I just ordered my Christmas gift :)
When they placed the 350mm version on their homepage, I wrote them an e-mail that it would be a smart idea to also have a batch of 380mm ones for the E9. The helpdesk guy replied that they have the four-spoke wheel for the E9. I explained the difference... Probably they already planned to do the 380mm; but if not...

Note that from January 1st 2026 you will only be able to buy classic lifestyle articles (not car accessories) from the Bovensiepens if you own a genuine Alpina (luckily, I kept my B3 since 2001). Probably part of the deal for transitioning of the trademark to BMW.

Delivery took two days only :)
It is probably a very individual decision if you judge the reproduction to be sufficient for ones coupé.
For me and my class of coupé it is OK - really looking forward to install it along with Scheel 302s etc.
But honestly, they could have at least done the arrangement of the leather and the related white square stitching at the back for the 3 and 9 o'clock spokes according to the historic part. Probably not much effort for a much more close to original look.
