I hope chicane watches and listens closely to the video above. People speak of a "gathering." not a show, not a competition for cleanest car. Or for that matter, Anything! There are high-$$$ restorations, faded paint, blinding shine and even, oh the horror, exposed horse hair, presumably on a work in progress.

None of these owners seem to be on chicane's "page." Perhaps he would be happier at Pebble Beach or some auction that grosses $100,000.00. But then he would not find buxom maidens serving craft beer at those either.

Any E9 gathering where Spaten (Optimator) is served is fine by me (but I'm too chicken to drive as far as NC) and Paulaner (Salvator) is fine by me if that's what BMWCCA wants to do (probably not, given the over-whelming preference for "Lite"-er beer.) Regardless, we E9 coupe-ers should be happy the Admin lets us post pictures of beautiful buxom German maidens (not serving St. Pauli Girl, one hopes) without censorship. The Saab Club is not known for that...AMHIK.
