Have to agree, Dick. Probably makes some parts easier to harvest, others will be there for a bit. Some hooked and brought to the surface, should be sent back into the deep

Wait, it looks like a new passenger mirror and air in the front driver's tire. And glass with possibly an original windshield. What other treasures remain out of sight?

WOW, surprised anyone would bother. The glass does look salvageable.
But a nice set of wheels and tires can work wonders..
Perhaps the "nice house" is the garage.
OMG - i have seen a few really bad basket cases ... but this one looks ... accurate words escape me. how did somebody hang onto this with the thought, we can rebuilt it - better than ever.
Good candidate for a "frame off" restoration.

I have owned Bavarias since the early '80s. And I will say again, the most beautiful sedan BMW will ever build. And a Coupe in all respects except that crucial one: design. Again, they are a Coupe in all respects except for the two extra doors. Drive, handle, corner like a coupe. Have a more advanced rear suspension in later models. Carry four full-size adults in comfort. And for those of us who crave more creature comforts, two extra outboard ducts for the essential in this world of climate change, air conditioning.

Does make you want to see underneath and interior of car…also would be interesting to how long it sat and where…
