Thermostat Housing

Greetings,

In my attempt to start my car after not running for 10 years I am in the middle of performing life essential tune up. I am replacing my thermostat and while I was removing the four bolts from the cover two of the heads snapped off. So I removed the entire housing and tried to remove the bolts but could not even get them to move. Is this salvageable or should I just buy a new housing from pelican parts?

if the piece as a whole is ok, i mean if the rest it is not corroded, you can attempt to remove the bolts, two things can happen, one you save the threads and all is good, two threads are destroyed or damaged and you have to either recoil them or make a hole and use a longer bolt and a nut in the other side

Save the housing

That housing looks like it's in remarkably good condition (almost no corrosion on the nipples).
You might want to try some heat on the bolt ends (acetylene). I've tried PB Blaster soak over many days without luck on these bolts.
