This is retro, this is Karmann!

Gee, I thought Maxwell had better taste than that!

The interior certainly isn't retro. And the exterior? Well, it's interesting. To my eye, there are too many incongruous shapes and features. A bit like the C8 Corvette, it looks like it was designed by a committee, with every member contributing a scoop, vent, weird detail or odd curve, none of which hang together. A few compatible ones might be OK, but more isn't necessarily better.

jmacro and Dick, agree heartly on both counts. And your C8 Corvette is the perfect example. How does that old line go, "an elephant is a mouse designed by a committee" or something like that.

Love, " The worst part is the voice over description. Either trying too hard or poor AI(or poor AI trying too hard.)"

Clearly crappy AI, as the cars' rear badge is almost on the lower edge of the trunk ( where no designer would ever put it), see 0:23 seconds.
Then later on the badge is moved upwards.
Also the rear lights change shape, a chrome trim on the door waistline near the front airvents disappears, as do rear airvents that magically appear, morph and disappear during the movie.

Can I filter YouTube based on this voice?
*do not show me search results with crappy AI voiceover from MrX*?

I see that IA is capable to produce stuff that looks really cool. I didn't see it coming, not soo fast
But still it's only cool on the outside, from a distance. It's beauty is waferthin and just not realistic.

As an engineer in a marketing company, I get that enough already...

The voice over may be AI but I think the car is real.
People with accents (like me) welcome AI voiceovers just like people with poor eyesight welcome contact lenses.
I see in the car a mouse, just like in the original one.
Yes, every modern car is perhaps designed by committee, that is why I am doing the Fulvia Zagato, designed by Ercole Spada with no committees...

I almost like it. I like the way the roof sweeps into the rear. Then, I saw the rest of it. Too many things I don't like.

it looks to be based on the audi TT ... just with the engine moved. there are some significant inconsistencies in the grilles / hood shapes throughout the pics. so the guess of 3d rendering / photoshop comes to mind. while i am not sure i really want an EV, but if i did, it would be a small sporty car that i drove around town. i would like a version of my TTS as an EV or possibly the rumored Cayman / Boxster EV for 2026.

This is 100% AI, and bad.

Maxwell Smart drove a Sunbeam Alpine
and detective Columbo?
and The Saint?
and James Bond?
Batman drove a custom Oldsmobile but Bruce Wayne? What Driver License would he use when driving the Batmobile, I would get stopped a lot if I drove a Batmobile. Officer, I am not drunk but I really am in a hurry? Officer I am on my way to a party?
Superman did not need a fast car, but Clark Kent?
