i've removed my TPS and give the contacts and tracks a clean and brush up with Caig Deoxit 5, which apparently chemically imroves the contacts and tracks, and increases conductivity.

I've got a perplexing issue however with the small spring on the armature on the rear of the switch. Foolishly i didn't photograph it in detail before starting to work on it. The spring is held in postion under the top of the armature, but has popped of from it's bottom fixing position. For the life of me i can't fitgure out wheere that should be. It's not only not obvious, but ive tried every possible permuation available to try to find its home.

Can anyone either let me have a photo of the spring in place, or offer any helpful advice ?
