note to everyone, i was shocked today when i went to USPS to mail a couple of boxes - a 3" x 3" x 3" box that weighed nothing cost 9.50 to ship to CA. another box about 8" x 8" x 8" with 4 C tubes in it cost 30+ bucks to CA.

I use PirateShip for all packages - it basically serves as a third party vendor for UPS, USPS or Fedex and allows you to get business rates. It is completely legal, I have never had any trouble with any of the packages I've shipped (including some to some of you here) and in general the rates are about 50%-60% off of standard book rate.

The thing about Max is he says it bolts right on which it does, but 02s and coupes never had a blue coil as we have ballasts, so the uninformed will install it and not remove the ballast or ballast wire.

Good point - you’re right that I would assume “bolt on” means put right in place. My E9 came with a very old blue coil but I think it was of a different non-internally-ballasted type.
