Wondering if there is a thread on selling? I'm thinking of parting with my much loved but not very used coupe. I just don't get enough time enjoying it to keep it, I reached the age of 75 this summer and decided it's time to make some changes. It's a very clean, older restoration, with a binder of documentation of work done~

I don't know of such a thread specifically...but there have been a few about where to sell, valuation, photography, etc, that will show themselves, I'm sure.
If the peanut gallery is to offer free advice, we probably should see several pictures also...
I'm a few years younger, but I know that down-sizing soon will not be fun.

As Dave said, put as much info as possible in the For Sale section here. There might be someone interested among the members.

If not, many will be happy to share their thoughts on where might be the best place for your car.

An important decision to make is whether you want to get maximum price, and therefore are ready put out energy and money into the process, or whether you just want to see it move on as quickly as possible with little involvement on your part. Be sure to include your location

I think it is always a good idea to clean your car and make it look as good as you can. Then get some pictures of it while it is nice and clean. If you are not good with a camera, ask around. Its usually pretty easy to find someone who takes pictures as a hobby.

Nice to know if there is rust and where. Post pictures of shock towers and rockers with the covers removed. There are other areas that can be posted.

I'll be getting back to this & post photos etc. just need to get a couple things done before winter, I'm in Maine. The car needs a good washing & some details cleaned up. I'm doing one shock tower, due to previous owner installing high performance shocks.

If you are talking about rear shock towers, please do both! It is a difficult set up to recreate later and if one went bad, the other will follow suit very soon
