Here are the tools I have in my toolbox that I believe are correct, it is just my opinion I could be wrong. All of these tools match what came in our one owner 1970 2800 sedan however.

LARGE PLIERS and SMALL PLIERS

SCREDRIVERS: no white lettering on large handle, small has metal clip to hold blade, not plastic which turns pinkish

I will try to add an image of my tools from my one owner Bavaria when I finish work.

If the bag had a taped flap, I'd open them. I'm very reluctant to open the bag.
"A very long time BMW friend called me to say that he bought a tool set for the CS coupe in the original plastic bag with part number on it from the widow of a man who had a BMW dealership in 1971. These tools have never been out of the wrapper - virgin tools. Yes the 2 red handled Hyco screw drivers are in there."
Excerpted from the email Amy Lester sent me dated June 10, 2019. There were 2 sets of these unopened bagged tools, Amy has the other set. To say the least, they were expensive.

I'm gathering as much info as i can on tools in general to build an FAQ on them.
When I'm having enough to be serious, I'll publish.

*any* info you have on original tools sent it to me please...

I can tell you already that there are a lot of different versions around, from every tool in the set.

@adawil2002 ; dont open the bag! I have some questions later for you, for which you can just check it, still closed. ( I am soooooo happy that it is a transparent bag!)

My question on wrenches:
Some on the casting have for example Nr450 and some just 450; Which is the correct one for 2800CS?

Here are some other photos .
I am presuming the Allen Wrenches are not correct.
And, based on Chris's pictures, my small screwdrivers are also of a later model

Can anyone think of what the 3 allen wrenches would be used on? I can only think of the diff drain plug and sway bars and even then you need to clamp some vise grips on them.

I can think of one being used for the steering box stiffness adjustment
One for the door hinges, that has at least one allen screw, #13
and.....

Thanks for posting....This is a very interesting and informative subject.

Also my strong belief is the earlier wrenches, I don't know the date change, maybe early to mid eighties, have BMW forged into the shanks. Also made in West Germany as well replacements now available don't I have had Allen wrenches that I have sold here with Heyco stamped into the shanks

Here are my wrenches, I don’t know which ones are ‘more’ correct, some say No 350, 350, and two say BMW.

SMALL Pliers, as they say Germany perhaps they are newer.
