i guess swap meet make a lot of sense in CA where there are a lot of coupes. in New Orleans, where Steve is - there aren't a lot ... same in Florida + Georgia ... there are a few.
the for sale section of the forum could be used in that manner - people can list what they have for sale or trade (also listing what they are looking for). face it, most of us need things that you can no longer buy ... and some need something that some have replaced just to make their cars more presentable ... and still have the older (not perfect looking part) sitting on the shelf.
and then there are new people (like me) who don't have any spares laying around (except a few bavaria / 2002 pieces - that will fit the coupe).
