As you know, I spent hours daily searching for parts that members need. About 3 months ago I received a text from my brother - in - law with a few photos of a vehicle that had a BMW emblem. Taken at night I was unable to identify the vehicle. I started to search for BMW images on the Internet and was able to find images of the vehicle in the photos. It turned out to be a BMW 700 Coupe which I had never seen in the flesh. It was quite late,however I had to call my friend who has a small collection. I told him I knew where there was a White BMW 700 Coupe about 4 miles from where I live and asked I he would be interested in looking at the car. He said he always wanted a yellow 700 Coupe but off course he was still interested. So the first thing the next morning I went to see the car. The moment I saw he car I wanted it for myself, however seeing that I had already told my friend an due to my health issues I knew it was best not to buy it for myself. And best of all the car was yellow not white. By late afternoon we were talking to the owner who was said it was his Grandfather's car and when he passed away the car was given to him. He decided that he would not be able to spend the money to restore it so he said he would consider selling it. A week later the car was in my friend,s garage. I considered that a Nice Find.
