You don't specify what this is? For E24 euro bumpers, there is a bolt like this holding on the rubber and is available through walloth nesch

He is referring to the t-bolts for the belt-line trim. @Mot27cars, check with W&N. They had some early production issues that caused these to be a poor fit, but I believe that the problem has been resolved. There is a lengthy thread on the subject. BTW - The bolt in the pic is way too big. :D

Markos is correct..that one looks like a knee-moulding trim t-bolt for a 2002.,.the e9 trim t-bolt is barely wider than the threads, about .25 inch across the "flat" (it actually has a softened edge so only sort of flat)

For the record I ordered a full bag of the e9 t bolts from w/n 6 months ago and they fit ok. Some nuts aren't tapped thru, and a couple bolts needed a sanding to fit in trim but for the price worth the fuss.

Yuk, I hate to do this but I have been looking for this thread (@sfdon had some great info in there IIRC) and no matter what search words I use (trim, trim bolts...) I can’t find it anymore. Should have bookmarked it! Could anyone kindly point me to it?

Hi. My son made a set using a special bolt. I made a set using Polyurethane bolts and nuts. No chance of scratching the paint.
If interested I will send you a sample of each.
