I'm having trouble removing the drivers seat in my '71 2800 CS. I can't get it to slide forward far enough to remove the rear bolts. Does anyone have any ideas what the problem might be?
I removed the console since the seat was bumping into it when moved forward, but that did not help.

Mine slides forward just enough to expose the rear bolts, the front of the seat is then about the middle line between the window switches. No need to reemove the console in my case but needs some more force at the end.

I have had issues with the front, right screw of the driver´s seat. After too many out an ins the threads become worn. There is very little space, and the screw needs to go in correctly (rather than slightly off centre to gain more space for the hand on the screwdriver).

I have used the thread sharpening tools (whatever they are called in english) for both the screw and the thread inside the seatbottom console.
The other 3 are very easy to get at.
