Hi.. After seeing 100's of coupes over the years you would think I should know this... but
here goes...

What are the proper OEM locations for holding down/securing the lug nut 'wrench' and the metal ''chock-block" within the spare tire well? The mount for the Jack is obvious. One would expect that these items were not just laying around in there...?

anyone?

Thanks. DCG

Wrench sits under the jack. My chock is too wide to sit next to tire, I keep it in the trunk caddy in the small compartment. Some of the early chocks could be narrower I guess but mine looks correct.

Thanks, Pete...

Your pic raises another question... I have seen pics of the trunk compartment in the old OEM owners manual that shows (as yours does) a roll-up tool pouch. Assuming the e9's all had fold-down tool kits, what tools are in the pouch?

Thanks again! DCG

Hi DCG,

As Chris says, with this not being a "city pack" car, this was where your tool kit went.

Glad the picture helped, we all see lots of cars and sometimes its a ??????? moment, certainly as I get older they seem to occur more often :-)

Pete
