Trunk Lock Question

Good Afternoon!
I purchased Polaris silver E9 late last year and have been attending to a few minor mechanical priorities and I’m now down to the last bits and pieces.

Which brings me to a trunk lock that won’t lock. I don’t have the key and it seems that Wallothnesch is out of replacement locks.

Does anybody know of an alternative source? I’d also be OK with a non-dimple key type if there is an interchangeable lock from another perhaps more recent model.

I appreciate any guidance.

Thank you!
Here are some snaps attached. I removed the barrel from the lock looking for a code number, but nothing. The washer that pins this lock in place, is also blank.

you should be able to have a locksmith rekey the lock to match your ignition key / door locks. the lock cylinder can be taken apart without a key. the alternative is to try to buy a set from somebody on the forum with a WTB post in the classified parts section

Thanks for the leads. I have seen the lock on eBay but I’m in Canada and, when you add the 25% tariffs plus the normal 12% in sales tax, this expensive lock becomes reallly expensive. Thanks for the link to Koopmans parts list - I’ll for sure reach out to him.
Thanks again!

i will look, i think i have one. presumably you are going to have somebody key it to match your car?
500 bucks for a single lock seems a bit userous. 250 for a used one doesn't seem a hole lot better.

I am not aware of any interchangable locks. If I understand it well, your dilemma could be solved with a new key? If so, the barrel of the lock carries a stamped number, and I Believe, on your side of the ocean, there are some companies that can cut a key to that code; Santa Monica Lock and Safe, in California is well known and appreciated by various e9 memebrs already:
Here's a link to SFDon's recommendation for them (though the solution was a bit different in that case):

fyi - the FAQ section would have been a good place to start when looking for parts& services: Santa Monica is listed there as well:
