trunk toolbox screws

In addition to the SS mounting screws, will likely use medium strength double side tape to attach the my tool box. I think doing so will spread the load onto a greater surface of the plastic instead of just the various mounting holes taking the entire load of box and tools. Believe this method will lessen the likelihood of the plastic cracking along the screw hole areas. Will definitely use my new tool box as a genuine tools holder and not just as eye candy.

One word of caution though, I suppose many coupes' tool tray fastening screws have been replaced at one time or another throughout the decades, just make sure the holes have not been enlarged already with bigger screws being used. It will be pretty frustrating to get the kit and find that the screws are too small.

this was originally prepared for a forum friend that confirmed the size of his holes
yes, in any case the user of the set should check that his holes are 4,2 or up to 4,5mm maximum, that was also my case
if they are larger i would propose other screw size
i am including two length sizes to take care of the extra thickness of the six lower screws,
i am providing a metric size drill bit of 5mm also to accomodate the holes of the tool-box to this new screws
it works !

hi, three more sets are on production now, but i would prefer not to come back to this almost every week or so

i would appreciate if anyother is interested to tell me this week, in which the shop will receive a new shipment of screws

the final ones have been produced and ready to go

it has take a while to set aside my duties and to go into this, to be able to finsh them

so the last sets have been finished and the address writen in the envelops

they will depart on monday, everyone that has ordered a set will receive an email with the tracking number

the set comprises short 16mm, and long 19mm bolts (exact according to the specs of the orange books, thanks to bert, now we are following the specs), as you can see the bolts are presented in a cardboard, please use them in their position, they are ready to use, with the washers on
