It's official in that I can now in good conscience take my car off the "in restoration" list and add it as a driver... finally! I could not update the registry, it gave me some "server error". Here is "Magnus" in all her gender confused beauty! (photos not the best)... And yes, there are still little bits that need to be put on, but as the "hack mechanic" says, that keeps others from wanting to drive her :-)

cool, must feel sooo good to tick that little box :)

very nice looking car as well.

The latin meaning of Magnus "the great" is not that gender confusing so you may want to stick with that. In Sweden it is just a common name.
Nicknamed to Mange or Mangan

got it

Thanks Chris, I used my slightly more powerful computer at work, that and the correct information let me in to update so all set.

Thanks Johan, I think it came to me when I had the girl apart that I would need the divine intervention of Albertus Magnus to put her back together again :-) or as Carl Nelson says "Now that you have your beautiful machine in a million pieces, most of which you never thought you would see out of the vehicle, take a good rest. Let your nerves recover. It will be a BMW again. " Since posting the name some very clever forum members provided me with some feminine references, since many of us like to refer to our rides in the female gender I was very happy to view the pictures of various women with the name "Magnus" :-)
