Turn light indicator lamp color?

Hi guys,

Here is something I wanted to ask for a while but that always escaped me. On my '71 Cs the turn light indicator lamp lights up orange or orange/yellow see picture bellow. On my '72 Csi it was green like on all modern cars.

So now I'm wondering is the orange wrong or was this the original color that changed in '72 to the green still in use today?

Mine is green, a variant of green I would call "tired green".

I think the green fades to yellow over time and sun exposure.

Mine is same as Stan's, you can tell the edges are green but center or 95% is now yellow.

Mine's green, '73 CSi built in June of '72.

Yes the discoloration is a good description of what I meant by tired green...

Since nothing beats original patina I'll hang on to the green that turned yellow. Nice thing to know, muchas gracias!
